Flexible couplings consisting of two sprockets provided with robust two-strand chains specially designed for couplings. Can be used for all general power transmission applications.Main Unit Constructed of two-strand roller chain and two sprockets. Can be coupled/decoupled without moving the equipment.
The Type LRC is a roller chain coupling which works with low to medium speeds. With its cover off, the coupling can operate with a speed of 2,000 rpm, while it can reach up to 5,000 rpm with the cover on. With a good torque capacity, the machine achieves moderate alignment capabilities.
A standard roller chain sprocket is connected by a duplex roller chain to a platewheel mounted on the CG Clutch. This construction provides a simple, reliable, low cost means of transmitting drive with minimum backlash, and accommodating reasonable shaft misalignment. Both Taper-bored and pilot bore sprockets are available.
Simple structure A roller chain coupling consists of one duplex roller chain and two sprockets for a simplex chain. Handling is very simple as both the shafts (driving shaft and driven shaft) can be connected and disconnected by inserting or removing connecting pins (cotter type).

Chain Type Wedgegard Couplings are supplied bored and keywayed to customer requirements.. Standard Units for release torques up to 64,000 Nm. Torque is adjustable by Wedgepin ratings. Designs to suit special drive requirements are available. Standard finish of Xylan coating on Wedgegard unit.
